We went to our local Chinese New Year celebrations today and during the celebrations decided to have a coffee at a Turkish Pide House.
To make amends we shall seek out Yum Cha during Ramadan.

Seth wanted to spend all his time there dancing in front of the stage. At one point he even placed his Cancer Council sun hat on at a Gene Kellyish angle. There is no doubt, he will have more luck with the ladies than his father ever did.

Seth has been moved up a class at gymnastics. I now look on from afar, rather than being with him on the apparatus.

He is obsessed with Star Wars. It was quite interesting to see how it took hold of him at such an early age. I, probably foolishly, thought it would be cool if we played the odd kid friendly xbox360 game together. I downloaded some free demos of old classics such as Sonic and Pacman. However, it wasn’t till I downloaded a demo of Lego Star Wars that his little eyes lit up. He obviously linked what was on tv to the real hard plastic lego he had in his toy boxes, and an obsession was born.
Marketing genius really, especially after the Jar Jar Binks debacle.
He still gets the words mixed up now and then. There’s C3 eighty Oh, and Bobba Fetto plus the heroicly titled Light Savers. But I still get a tear in my eye when he tells me the difference between a ‘C’ and ‘D’ class star destroyer…
