Totoro Forest is an urban forest located just outside of Tokyo. And, like a fine vintage cheese, no matter how hard you try to keep it intact pieces keep getting nibbled off the edge.

Totoro Project was the brainchild of Japanese film maker Hayao Miyazaki has helped raise over $3million to help but the forest so it can remain in it’s untouched state.

Hundreds of amazing pieces of art have been created for auction to raise money for the cause.

It’s at webdesignerwall and it is at the moment a work in progress, but judging by the quality of his other tutorials, it should be mint.

His blog is a bit on the webby side and shuns paper too much for my tatses, but, credit where credit is due, and you don’t really need paper that much when you are a web designer apart from trips to the toilet.

A fan curated gallery of the art of Pixar. The guy who runs it is limited somewhat by the images he can use (mainly promotional stuff), but the quality still shines through.

And in my opinion, Ratatouille is the best animated feature of all time. So there.

Just got back from the cricket where we saw India get demolished by Sri Lanka in a rain affected match at Manuka Stadium in Canberra.

The highlight was seeing Sachin Tendulkar live for the last time (that’s him above looking like he is going to be speared by a man thrusting a Sri Lankan flag).

I also had a special moment when I spotted a rare 100+ strand 3/4 length comb over featuring a 1 inch side parting. Extra humour was added by him having a slightly cuboid shaped head.
He is safe. No one will ever know he is bald…
